A Pennsylvania man accused of possessing child sexual abuse material is wanted after authorities say he fled the United States to the United Arab Emirates.
Shahnoor Khurram Afridi, 19, of Chalfont, Bucks County, is wanted on charges of sexual abuse of children involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and criminal use of a communication facility, according to New Britain Township Police.
The investigation began after the Bucks County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received CyberTips from Yahoo, Snapchat, and Facebook, police said.

The son of an NFL coach has been arrested for a shooting at the family home in Virginia, Daily Voice has learned.
Eric Bieniemy's wife, Mia Bieniemy, 57, was reportedly shot by their son Elijah Zion Bieniemy, 27, on Sunday, July 26, in the 20000 block of Northpark Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and ESPN. Eric Bieniemy is the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator.
Deputies were called shortly after 7:30 p.m. on July 26 to the home, where there were reports of gunshot wounds. One woman was treated and rushed to an area hospital.

A trip to one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated shorelines has turned into a mystery with a family waiting for answers.
Elizabeth “Liz” Waddell, 44, of Cary, North Carolina, was last seen at Grand Anse Beach in St. George’s, Grenada, on Wednesday, July 22, according to the Royal Grenada Police Force.
Police issued the missing-person alert on Thursday, July 23.

Foodborne Illness Outbreak Expands To 4 States, Including PA, As Hospitalizations Climb
The scale of a fast-moving foodborne illness threat is coming into sharper focus, and confirmed cases may show only part of the problem.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday, July 24, that a Cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce had expanded from five states to nine.
At least 1,947 illnesses and 98 hospitalizations have been reported. No deaths have been recorded.
