2 Men, Teen Charged With Murder In Fatal Stabbing Of Nassau County 18-Year-Old
More than a month after an 18-year-old was found fatally stabbed on a New York street, police have arrested three people in connection with his killing.
Denis A. Gonzalez Sorto, 21, of Hempstead, Isaac Lopez Alvarez, 20, of Hempstead, and a 17-year-old adolescent offender have each been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Michael David Grajeda Suazo, according to Nassau County Police in an update issued Saturday, Aug. 1.
The arrests stem from the fatal stabbing that happened around 9:25 p.m. Sunday, June 28, outside 545 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead.

Motorcyclist Killed Crashing Into Center Divider On Nesconset Highway On Long Island
A Long Island motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike and crashing into a center divider early Saturday, Aug. 1, police announced.
Herson Almonte, 42, of Port Jefferson Station, was riding a 2026 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Nesconset Highway, just east of Nicolls Road in Centereach, at approximately 12:30 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the roadway's center divider, according to Suffolk County Police.
Almonte was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Undercover Investigation Leads To Prostitution Arrest At Nassau County Spa
An undercover investigation into suspected illegal activity at a Long Island spa ended with the arrest of a Queens woman on prostitution-related charges, police announced on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Detectives with the Narcotics/Vice Squad conducted the investigation Friday, July 31, at K. Gelane Spa, located at 97 Jackson Ave. in Syosset, where they determined illegal massages were being conducted, Nassau County police explained.
Qiaoling Ma, 40, of Whitestone, was arrested without incident at about 5:50 p.m., according to investigators.
