A 20-year-old Connecticut man who died unexpectedly is being remembered for his gentle heart and sense of humor as his family asks the community for help saying goodbye.
Alex Lanford, of Wallingford, died Thursday morning, July 29. His family did not disclose how he died, but they said in his obituary that his death was sudden and unexpected.
His mother, Darla Lanford, announced his death in a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his funeral costs.

The man found dead inside a vehicle over the weekend was a US Army veteran and a longtime Connecticut corrections and animal control officer, authorities announced.
